KREBS Services

KREBS Services was formed in early 2005 to assist professional people with their monitoring requirements.

Markus Krebs, a partner of KREBS Services, has been involved with data loggers since 1984 and has become an expert in this area.

His background is in electronics. He completed a four year apprenticeship as FEAM (Telecommunications and Electronic Equipment Assembler) by Siemens-Albis AG in Switzerland. He then supported a group of engineers working with Intel 8080 based microcomputers before deciding to become an engineer himself. He successfully completed a degree in electronics engineering (Dipl.El.-Ing. HTL), the Swiss equivalent to a bachelor degree.

In 1984 Markus migrated to Australia and started work with Unidata, a Perth based manufacturer of data loggers. He initially worked in the engineering department before shifting to the sales and customer support area. In 1991 Markus setup Unidata’s sales, marketing and support operation in Germany.

The Unidata business was sold in 2000, which allowed Markus to return to Australia In 2001. He then worked for 4 years with Ecowise Environmental in the field of customer support, field maintenance and data collection.

Markus has recently been granted NATA signatory for continuous monitoring of meteorological parameters and ambient air by TEOMs.
